poor design constructed of cheap materials June 20, 2010 D&M Agree with most other reviewers. The bucket is made of nice heavy duty metal, while the rest of the toy is made of flimsy and cheap plastic. You lift the bucket even one inch off the ground, the toy tips forward. its impossible to use as a "loader". Also, the tracks seem to fall off extremely easily because of the flimsy plastic design. Would recommend looking for a different front loader toy.
No Fun March 11, 2010 KitchenKrazy There was a reason this toy was on sale. Every time any child tried to make the loader go up and down, the whole contraption would just fall on it's face. Literally. You can't put any sand or water or anything in the "loader" because it gets top/front heavy and falls over. I'm sure the real-life loader has more weight distributed to the back so that it's properly balanced at all times. Very disappointed in the toy.
Very durable toy January 18, 2010 Mom of 4 boys (California) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
My sons have had these for about a month now. They love to play with them. Very strong and rugged! They have not had trouble with the bucket as some others have mentioned. They have not rusted even after being left outside. Highly recommend, I see they are now about one fourth of what I paid for them.

I bought all three of the trucks offered and they are wonderful! Just the right size for smaller hands and very sturdy. They are well built, bright and I am sure when summer comes my granddaughters will have a great time with them.
Frustrating toy... don't buy it November 7, 2008 Marcie (PA) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I agree with the previous reviewer - this is the worst designed toy ever. The scoop is disproportionate to the body. If the scoop is lifted off the ground at all, the whole front loader tips over. I don't think you can actually get the loader to sit as it is shown in the picture - it would fall over. There are so many better loaders and trucks, don't waste your money on this one.
