My grandkids have a great time with the bumper cars. It is good for the grandparents as they can join in on the fun.

Yes the build quality is not the best, but it's definitely not bad, actually it exceeded my expectations.
10 AAA batteries, well for 4 units (2cars+2remotes) either trasnmitting or running motors, this ain't bad at all.
As for the fun, my kids love it and enjoy it. Whenever they pop each other figurine out they do a victory dance and laugh like crazy.
Pros: It's great fun, surprising maneuverability, just what they need to wind down after a long day of school and structured environment
Cons: Instructions are terrible, it never says you need to align the number on the remote to the number on the car. Takes a while to understand, but then it works as advertised.

I sent these cars to two boys, 5 and 7 and their mom said they played with them for hours after they got them.

Purchased the Bumper cars for my Grandson, the cars were a great hit. The grandkids loved playing with the cas and so did the adults. They though it was really funny when the little drivers would pop out of the seat.

I have NOT received this item as of February 10, 2010. I notified Round Table Toys in January that I had not received this item, however, I did receive some "Knock Knock Blocks" instead that were to be shipped to someone in New York. My 8 year old grandson was NOT impressed. Round Table said that they would send me a return label for the blocks and when they received them back they would credit my account. As of today, No label. I'm am very disappointed in this transaction and would like a full credit for the original ordered item and a label to send back the baby toy.
